Meeloop is a community built on connection, creativity, and respect. These Community Guidelines outline the standards we expect all users to uphold to create a safe, welcoming, and positive environment for everyone.

By using Meeloop, you agree to follow these guidelines. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban from the platform.

Be Respectful and Kind

Meeloop is a place for positive interactions. We expect all users to:

  • Use inclusive language that welcomes all community members
  • Give credit to others for their content and ideas
  • Celebrate others' achievements and support their creative expression
  • Be mindful of cultural differences and diverse perspectives

Zero Tolerance Policies

The following behaviors will result in immediate action, including permanent account suspension:

Harassment and Bullying

We do not tolerate:

  • Bullying, intimidation, or persistent unwanted contact
  • Targeted harassment or coordinated attacks on individuals
  • Stalking or doxxing (sharing private information without consent)
  • Threats of violence or harm
  • Sexual harassment or unwanted sexual advances

Hate Speech and Discrimination

Content that promotes hate or discrimination based on:

  • Race, ethnicity, or national origin
  • Religion or religious beliefs
  • Gender identity or sexual orientation
  • Disability or medical condition
  • Age or veteran status
  • Caste or social status

Violence and Dangerous Content

Do not post content that:

  • Depicts, glorifies, or promotes violence or graphic content
  • Encourages self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
  • Promotes terrorism or violent extremism
  • Provides instructions for creating weapons or explosives
  • Depicts animal abuse or cruelty

Sexual Content and Child Safety

Strictly prohibited:

  • Pornography or sexually explicit content
  • Content that sexualizes minors in any way
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) - immediately reported to authorities
  • Solicitation of sexual content from minors
  • Non-consensual intimate images

Illegal Activities

Do not use Meeloop to:

  • Promote or facilitate illegal drugs or substances
  • Sell or trade illegal goods, weapons, or services
  • Engage in fraud, scams, or phishing attempts
  • Share pirated or stolen content
  • Facilitate human trafficking or exploitation

Content Standards

Posts and Stories

  • Share content that adds value to the community
  • Do not post spam, repetitive content, or excessive self-promotion
  • Ensure you have rights to share photos, videos, and other media
  • Use appropriate content warnings for sensitive topics
  • Do not mislead others with false or manipulated information

Comments and Interactions

  • Keep comments constructive and relevant
  • Do not hijack conversations or derail discussions
  • Avoid excessive use of emojis, caps lock, or symbols
  • Do not tag or mention users excessively without their consent

Messaging

  • Respect others' boundaries and privacy
  • Do not send unsolicited commercial messages or spam
  • Accept "no" gracefully if someone doesn't want to chat
  • Report inappropriate messages immediately

Loops (Random Connect)

When using the Loops feature:

  • Use a respectful display name and appropriate profile picture
  • Start conversations in a friendly, non-threatening manner
  • Do not share personal information like phone numbers or addresses
  • Respect when someone doesn't want to connect
  • Be honest about your age - this feature is 18+ only
  • Do not use Loops for dating, hookups, or inappropriate requests

Profile and Account

  • Use your real name or an appropriate username
  • Choose a profile picture that represents you appropriately
  • Do not impersonate others, including celebrities or public figures
  • Do not create fake accounts or multiple accounts for abuse
  • Keep your bio and profile information truthful

Respect Intellectual Property

Only post content that you have created or have permission to share. This includes:

  • Photos, videos, and artwork
  • Music, audio clips, and sound effects
  • Text, articles, and written content
  • Memes and edited images (ensure compliance with fair use)
  • Brand logos and trademarks

Maintain Platform Integrity

Help us keep Meeloop secure and functional:

  • Do not use bots, scripts, or automation to interact with the platform
  • Do not attempt to hack, exploit vulnerabilities, or access unauthorized areas
  • Do not scrape or collect user data without permission
  • Do not artificially inflate engagement (likes, comments, follows)
  • Do not circumvent age restrictions or verification systems
  • Report bugs and security issues responsibly

Reporting Violations

Your help is essential in keeping Meeloop safe. If you see content or behavior that violates these guidelines:

  • Use the in-app reporting feature to flag inappropriate content
  • Block users who harass or make you uncomfortable

  • Provide as much detail as possible to help us investigate

All reports are confidential. We review every report and take appropriate action. You will not be penalized for reporting in good faith.

Enforcement and Consequences

When we identify violations of these guidelines, we may take the following actions:

Violating content will be removed from the platform

Temporary restriction from posting, messaging, or using specific features

Temporary suspension for repeated or serious violations

Permanent Ban

Severe or repeated violations result in permanent account removal

Illegal content will be reported to law enforcement authorities as required by law.

Appeals

If you believe your content was removed or your account was restricted in error, you may appeal our decision:

  • Use the in-app appeal process within 30 days of the action
  • Provide additional context or information for our review
  • Our team will review your appeal and respond within 7-10 business days
  • Appeal decisions are final

Updates to These Guidelines

We may update these Community Guidelines as our platform evolves. We will notify users of significant changes through in-app notifications and update the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of Meeloop after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised guidelines.
